Come make a beautiful photo tree with pictures of your family.  The perfect gift or display for the holiday season!  Please bring a selection of family photos that will be cut and used for this project.  A minimum of 10 photos is necessary.  Registration begins Monday, December 5.

Share time with friends as you wrap your holiday gifts.  Head down to the library with up to 3 of your unwrapped presents and leave with beautiful packages for that special someone!  Registration begins Monday, December 5.

How creative are you?  Grab your friends and head to BFL for this fun challenge where you will be asked to produce different accessories or items using only Duck tape!  Registration begins Monday, December 5.

Relax on your school vacation with a great movie.  Popcorn will be served as we watch Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows: Part II (Rated PG-13).  Registration begins Monday, December 5.

YOUNG ADULT WINTER READING CLUB

Curl up with a good book this winter and enter to win a “Kindle” e-Reader!  Sign-up for this program beginning Monday, December 5 and keep track of the titles (including audio books) that you read.  Fill out a simple book review form and hand in to receive a raffle chance.  The more books you read the better chances you have of winning the “Kindle.” 

COMMUNITY SERVICE OPPORTUNITY:  HOUSEWARES FOR HABITAT

Saturday, January 21 from 1:00 to 3:00pm

Earn two hours of community service by making housewares that will be donated for inclusion in a Habitant of Humanity home.  Close pin mirrors and wax crayon art are two of the projects that we will create.  Registration begins Monday, December 5.

WARM WINTER TREATS

Monday, January 30 at 7:00pm

Learn how to make tasty treats that will surely warm you up this winter.  Turkey chili, black bean soup and mini apple crisps are all on the menu.  Registration begins Monday, December 5.

PIXILATED POST-IT ART

Wednesday February 15 at 7:00

Create unique works of art utilizing one simple material; Post-It notes!  This technique will give your art the look of a pixilated image and look amazing when hung on your wall. 

GIRLS NIGHT OUT

Join us for a discussion of Caroline B. Cooney’s fast paced and suspenseful book, The Face on the Milk Carton.  This novel is action packed and sure to catch the interest of the most discerning reader.  Light refreshments will be served.  Books will be available at the circulation desk beginning December 27.
